Christina Batshoun is a partner in the Long Beach office of Kelly, Trotter & Franzen. She focuses her practice primarily on elder abuse, medical malpractice, and general liability defense, representing physicians, medical groups, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, emergency medical service personnel, and other healthcare providers.
Ms. Batshoun graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Long Beach, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in History with a Minor in Classical Studies. Before graduating from California State University, Long Beach, she was inducted into the Rho Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Batshoun earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. During law school, she was a legal writing and research teaching assistant, a federal income tax teaching assistant, an insurance law research assistant, and a staff editor and executive technology editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal.
Before joining Kelly, Trotter & Franzen, Ms. Batshoun worked at an AV-rated Glendale law firm as an attorney, where she focused her practice on defending healthcare professionals and entities in ongoing litigation for medical malpractice and elder abuse. Before working in medical practice and elder abuse defense, Ms. Batshoun was a tax attorney representing corporations and individuals with complex state and local tax matters.
In 2025 and 2026, Ms. Batshoun was recognized as one of Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars. The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
