N. Ben Cramer is a partner with Kelly, Trotter & Franzen where his practice focuses on civil litigation defense. He actively litigates cases involving allegations of medical malpractice, professional liability, general liability, and premises liability.

As the son of a Marine Corps officer, Mr. Cramer was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He grew up on both coasts before eventually going to high school in Carlsbad, California. He graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in History in 2005 and obtained his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2008. He is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of California. He is a member of San Diego Defense Lawyers, San Diego Association for Healthcare Risk Management, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and the California Medical Legal Committee.

He is the President of the San Diego Defense Lawyers and the Treasurer for the San Diego Association for Healthcare Risk Management. He has been selected as a finalist for “Top Young Attorney in San Diego” by The Daily Transcript and a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine. He was a panelist at the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel 2016 Annual Seminar, where he spoke about trial preparation.

In his spare time, Mr. Cramer enjoys competing in triathlons, half marathons, and golf tournaments.
