Michael Marshall is an associate at Kelly, Trotter & Franzen’s Long Beach office. His practice focuses primarily on medical malpractice and elder abuse litigation.

A southern California native, Michael attended El Camino College and Pepperdine University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in History. He eventually returned to Pepperdine to study law, serving as Student Bar Association representative every year. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002, and spent his first 14 years offering legal services to individuals and small businesses, regularly representing underserved and vulnerable populations.

Michael joined the skilled nursing industry in 2016. Since then, he has represented multiple clients in a variety of functions, often working directly with facility staff to improve services and reduce liability exposure.
