Mr. Pruett is a certified appellate specialist and has extensive trial experience. He has represented clients on a wide range of issues.

After graduating from Loyola Law School in 1991, Mr. Pruett served as a research attorney for the Los Angeles Superior Court for two years. He gained a wealth of experience in litigating managed care issues confronting health care providers during his employment with Hillsinger & Costanzo, culminating in the dismissal of managed care allegations against his clients in a trial challenging the appropriateness of the fixed fee and shared risk payment arrangements between health care service plans and medical providers. In addition to the depth of experience in managed care issues, medical malpractice, and elder abuse, Mr. Pruett’s experience includes insurance litigation, employment litigation, class action litigation, physician-hospital relationships, and various issues arising in business litigation.
