Rachel G. Geagea is an attorney at the San Diego office of Kelly, Trotter & Franzen.

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and History Cum Laude from the University of California San Diego in 2018 before earning her J.D. at the University of San Diego School of Law in 2021.

During her time in law school, Rachel served as a Comment Editor for the San Diego International Law Journal where she was published for her article on the legal landscape of the black-market trade of antiquities. She also served as secretary of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association and Vice President of the St. Thomas More Society. Prior to her work in civil litigation, Rachel clerked for the American Bar Association’s Center for Human Rights where she assisted in the research and writing of articles for publication. Rachel developed her trial and advocacy skills as a clerk for the San Diego Public Defender’s Office working on complex criminal cases across multiple units and disciplines, including the intersection of criminal law and immigration.

In 2024, Rachel shifted from criminal to civil litigation where she focused her practice on medical malpractice defense. Coming from a family of healthcare professionals, Rachel is passionate about representing those individuals and institutions who keep our communities safe and healthy.
