Shelby Jones joined the Long Beach office of Kelly, Trotter & Franzen as an associate in February, 2022.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Shelby also worked at the firm as a legal assistant, and as a law clerk.

Shelby graduated from the University of Alabama in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science.  She received her Juris Doctor in 2021 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.  Prior to starting a career in law, Shelby worked in advertising, and during law school she interned at an alternative dispute resolution forum where some of the country’s largest brands and corporations resolved advertising law disputes with their competitors.  Shelby also interned at a personal injury and medical malpractice firm in New York City where she worked on a class action lawsuit involving a major health insurance company.

Shelby became a member of the State Bar of California in January, 2022.

In her free time, Shelby enjoys yoga, going to the movies, spending time with family and friends, and watching Alabama football.
